Body measurements for a leather shirt are taken directly from your body, while garment measurements refer to the finished shirt size. For proper fitting, the chest is usually made 1–2 inches larger than the body measurement for comfort and movement, and the collar is kept about 0.5–1 inch larger for easy button closure and neck comfort. The sleeve length and shirt length are generally kept close to body measurements, with only slight adjustments depending on style and fit. Garment measurements are made according to these adjusted sizes to ensure a balanced, comfortable, and well-fitted leather shirt.
