MEASURING GUIDE FOR JACKET
Body measurements for leather jackets are taken from your actual body, while garment measurements are taken from the finished jacket. A leather jacket is designed with approximately 4 inches of extra room in the chest for comfort, layering (like shirts or hoodies), and easy movement, while other measurements are adjusted according to design and fit style.
Please Note:
Chest: The finished garment is usually made with around 3-4 inches extra compared to body measurement for comfort, layering (shirt/hoodie), and easy movement.
Shoulder: Kept almost the same as body measurement (0–1 inch adjustment max) to maintain proper structure and fit.
Sleeve Length: Usually kept same as body measurement with only slight adjustment (around 0.5 inch if needed).
Jacket Length: Kept same or with 0.5–1 inch variation depending on design and style.
Bottom (Hem): The bottom is usually slightly smaller than the chest (tapered fit) to give a sharp, fitted, and structured look.
Note: Leather jackets are designed with extra space mainly in the chest for comfort and layering, while the bottom is kept more fitted than the chest for a stylish shape.
